Darbi’s GPX250 Journey

Darbi, her father Erik, and her younger brother have been spending quality time together in the workshop, focusing on getting Darbi’s GPX250 back on the road. Yesterday, the carburetors emerged from the ultrasonic cleaner with a new shine, a testament to the cleaner’s effectiveness. This afternoon, Darbi and Erik were back at it, meticulously rebuilding the carburetors in preparation for testing. Their dedication and commitment to this project are truly impressive!

We love seeing the progress our members make with their projects each day, and Darbi’s journey is a shining example of the passion and determination that defines our community.

Mark’s Busa Clutch Conundrum

Meanwhile, Mark has encountered a stumbling block with his Busa clutch assembly. To tackle this perplexing issue, he has invited an old friend and a “very good mechanic” with extensive Busa experience to help out. We’re eager to see the expertise and teamwork that will go into solving this problem. Stay tuned for updates on Mark’s progress.

Photography Highlights

Our in-house photographer, Rob Keating, captured some amazing shots of Rowena Smith during her Troy Corser coaching sessions last Sunday at Pheasant Wood Circuit. These images beautifully showcase the skill and intensity of the sessions, offering a glimpse into the dedication and hard work that goes into mastering the craft of motorcycle riding. In addition, we’ll be hanging some of these prints in the workshop, including those from our recent ‘photoshoot & BBQ day’. These photos not only celebrate our community’s achievements but also inspire others to pursue their passions with the same vigor and enthusiasm. Make sure to check them out next time you’re in!
