Sonia

Hi, I'm Sonia...

I’m a motorcycling enthusiast on a quest to help people become more comfortable not only with riding, but with motorbike maintenance.

When I was about four, I had spanners put in my hand, and by the time I was fourteen, I was helping my father strip down a ute’s motor – and after honing the cylinders, put it back together again.

I have four motorbikes. Five grandchildren.

And I’ve gone from being a 9 to 5 public servant to founding Canberra’s first social enterprise for motorcycle owners.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

QUOTE

About the re-build a motorcycle project:

“I now understand what I am paying for when I take my bike in for a service and what the mechanics are saying when they are telling me what they’ve done or when they’re trying to explain a problem. This course has been great for creating that understanding and in developing the knowledge I now have.”

QUOTE

“Just teach me how to change the oil, coolant, brake pads, correctly lube the chain on my Trumpy, and provide a cool ‘bike place’ to hang out and I’ll be immensely happy.” Supporter, June 2023
