By signing up as a Riders Lane Member you agree that you have read, understand accept the following:

1. General Facility Use

1.1 As a Riders Lane Member, you are exclusively entitled to use of our shared workspaces, pending safety approval by management. The following policies are in place to ensure fair access for all members to our facilities. Failure to abide by these policies may result in termination of your membership.

1.2 All shop and studio space must be kept orderly and neat.

1.3 If you are using workshop equipment of any sort, they must be operated with proper care.

1.4 Please make sure all equipment is returned to the very same state as it was found.

1.5 If you have any problems or questions, please notify the Riders Lane staff immediately. Failure to follow specific guidelines and procedures may result in the user being held responsible for replacement cost and labour cost of damaged Riders Lane property.

2. Workshop Use & General Guidelines

2.1 Workshop members must use their swipe card or pin code to enter the building. Members are asked to ensure that entry to the building via tailgating by non-members does not occur. Anyone found to have allowed a non-member into the building will have their membership suspended for 28 days.

2.2 All users of workshop are responsible for their own safety. Riders Lane will not be held liable or responsible for any injury sustained by using the workshop.

2.3 Riders Lane will maintain machines to be in working order and maintain consumables to an acceptable level. If at any time you notice the tools or equipment are not functioning properly, please report the issue to the Workshop Manager immediately. If the Workshop Manager is not available, please report to the front desk.

2.4 When using any of Riders Lane’s machines or facilities, the user must return machines and facility to the state they were found in (clean, fully assembled, in good working order).

2.5 Improper use of tools and machines resulting in damages, the user will be liable for all costs (replacement and labour) associated with fixing tools or machines.

2.6 Riders Lane is not responsible for any damage to personal items or material stored or used in workshop.

2.7 All users of workshop must agree to this a liability waiver:

Liability Waiver

I agree to hereby waiver any claims that I have, or may have in the future against Riders Lane, their Officers, Directors, Employees, Representatives, Agents and Volunteers (who are hereby collectively referred to as the releasees) for personal injury or property damage arising from my participation in Riders Lane activities. By agreeing to this waiver, I agree to hold the releasees’ harmless and indemnify them from any injury, disability, loss or damage to my person or property,

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property and/or equipment that I bring into Riders Lane, or generate/create in any area of Riders Lane.
  • Any bodily injuries or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in any class, workshop, or program on Riders Lane property or premises.
  • Any bodily injuries or damages that I may sustain as a result of using any machine or equipment owned by or incurred on Riders Lane property or premises.
  • I understand the use or possession of alcohol and/or illegal drugs within the workspace is considered reckless endangerment by my person and is not allowed in the workshop of Riders Lane under any circumstances and that I will be subject to removal from the premises.
  • I understand that all storage of personal property, either brought in from the outside or created at Riders Lane, is my exclusive responsibility, and that storage is gratuitous and subject to approval by Riders Lane.

3. Workshop Use and Courses

3.1 Access to the workshop during class time is at the discretion of the instructor.

3.2 Classes will receive priority on all tools and equipment in the workshop.

3.3 If you are on a deadline with a project, please speak with the instructor. We want you to finish your project and have the class be a success.

4. Membership Periods and Payments

4.1 Workshop Membership

4.1.2 Workshop memberships is based on an annual subscription commencing the date you join.

4.1.3 Titanium membership package fees are:

  • Fortnightly: $100.00 paid in fortnightly instalments by direct debit.
  • Monthly: $200.00 paid in monthly instalments by direct debit.
  • Annual: $2088.00 paid when you join   SAVE $285.00

4.1.4 Cobalt membership package fees are:

  • Fortnightly: $68.00 paid in fortnightly instalments by direct debit.
  • Monthly: $134.55 paid in monthly instalments by direct debit.
  • Annual: $1477.20 paid when you join   SAVE $137.40

4.1.5 Gold membership package fees are:

  • Fortnightly: $15.00 paid in fortnightly instalments by direct debit.
  • Monthly: $30.00 paid in monthly instalments by direct debit.
  • Annual: $306.00 paid when you join SAVE $54.00

4.1.6 Family membership package fees are:

  • Fortnightly $105.00 paid in fortnightly instalments by direct debit
  • Monthly: $210.00 paid in monthly instalments by direct debit
  • Annual: $2,142.00 paid when you join SAVE $378.00

4.2 Social Membership

4.2.1 Social membership package fees are:

  • Fortnightly: $18.80 paid in fortnightly instalments by direct debit
  • Monthly: $37.60 paid in monthly instalments by direct debit
  • Annual: $328.40 paid when you join – SAVE $121.90

4.3 Lifetime Workshop Membership

4.3.1 Lifetime memberships are offered at the discretion of Riders Lane for a one-off fee of $8,250.00 (correct at time of publication)

4.4 Payment, refund and cancellation

4.4.1 All memberships fees are payable in advance based on your elected billing cycle: annual, quarterly; monthly or fortnightly.

4.4.2 Memberships are non-refundable should you wish to cancel prior to the end of your membership cycle. There are no cancellation fees for annual pre-paid memberships.

4.4.3 You can manage your membership details, recurring subscriptions and payment information via your account dashboard, or in person or via our contact form.

5. Motorcycle Storage And Subscriptions

5.1 Storage of motorcycle and parts are completely at your own risk.

5.2 Under no circumstances can a shop user store any items in the shared space of the workshop without receiving prior consent from Workshop Manager.

5.3 Any areas surrounding Riders Lane premises (including front and rear entrances) is expressly off limits for storage of work, including temporary storage.

5.4 All materials and projects in the workshop must be labelled with all the following: full name, phone number, move date, and labels must be legible. All non or partially labelled projects/materials will be removed from the premises immediately.

5.5 Riders Lane is not responsible for any damage to personal items or material left on the premises.

Please keep in mind that Riders Lane is a shared space and is frequented by many people. If you do not feel your goods are safe and secure, do not store them onsite.

IMPORTANT: ABANDONED PROPERTY AND VEHICLE LAWS

If property becomes abandoned, e.g. storage fees are not paid, or vehicles and parts are left on-site and we are unable to contact, we will treat the property as donated goods to Riders Lane and Riders Lane reserve the right to sell the property to recover unpaid fees.

We understand that at times people’s circumstances can change and we are always happy to help where possible. Keep us in the loop and maintain communication (we really don’t want to dispose of your bike!).

6. Photo Release

I consent to Riders Lane having full and unrestricted publishing and use rights for any photographs (digital or print) taken on Riders Lane premises by Riders Lane employees or volunteer members, in which my image or any of my materials or art, either brought in or created/generated at Riders Lane, appears.

I hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Riders Lane from any liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking of said picture or in any subsequent processing thereof, as well as any publication thereof, including without limitation any claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

If you do not agree to have your photo released or published you need to speak with Riders Lane Management to inform them of this, PRIOR to photos being released.

7. Marketing and Notifications

7.1    Marketing materials, subscription notifications and newsletters will occasionally be sent out via email and by accepting these terms and conditions, you are consenting to be opted-in by default.

7.2    These can be unsubscribed from via the “unsubscribe” button at the footer of all emails.
